The Public Defenders in the Chester County Court of Common Pleas in my Opinion, Play , Let’ s Make A Deal, they will not fight for your rights, they only want an easy plea…..Pathetic, no excuse !!!!! They refuse from what I have seen, and can prove to represent you, unless God Forbid there is a murder case, then they have no choice, but there job is to make a plea, and they refuse to represent some……
Let’s clean up the Chester County Court House, they are paid to do a job, not play the game show, Let’ s Make A Deal…..
This is what Law School Does for the Court System, why not just go to Gaming School ?????

The Public Defenders Office is funded by public money – mostly federal money. Almost every federal budget cycle the funds to support the valuable work of the public defenders has been cut. If you want to trace the effectiveness of the Public Defenders trace the funds that are available to support them. It is no wonder that the “Let’s make a deal” approach to defending the poor takes priority. The poor always get the short end of the stick-not because they lack rights, but rather that they lack money. The poor are victims of a crappy system.
If you want to blame anyone in the legal system for the cause of the “lets make a deal” approach blame the BIG BOX law firms for not taking on more PRO BONO work. Blame the system for not demanding that more resources be allocated to help the poor defend themselves. This is a system problem that requires a system solution.
